This business resides on Vashon Island, the traditional homeland of the Sqababsh and Coast Salish populations.

We honor with extreme gratitude the land itself and the people who have stewarded it throughout generations. The First People created homes, raised families, buried relatives, shared stories, made music and art, developed medicine, celebrated, fought battles, and built unity. They lived in balance with the natural world and inhabited Vashon and Maury Islands for over 10,000 years.

We pay our respect to their elders past, present and emerging. And we acknowledge the genocide and continuous displacement of indigenous peoples.
